My research focuses on understanding the formation and evolution of galaxies through resolved stellar populations, large astronomical surveys, and modern data analysis techniques. I combine observational astronomy, statistical inference, and machine learning to analyze massive datasets and develop scalable tools for astronomical discovery.

![]() | Variables in S-PLUS I lead the **Variables in S-PLUS** project, which aims to exploit the unique 12-band photometric system of S-PLUS to investigate variable stars. My current work focuses on constructing the first narrow-band Period-Luminosity relations of Classical Cepheids and producing reddening maps of the Magellanic Clouds. |
| ### Nearby Dwarf Galaxies I am developing automated pipelines combining **machine learning**, **citizen science**, and **image analysis** to discover ultra-faint nearby dwarf galaxies in DESI imaging. ![]() | ### Milky Way Structure My research investigates the three-dimensional structure and chemodynamics of the obscured Milky Way using more than one million variable stars together with multi-band photometric and spectroscopic surveys. I am particularly interested in identifying new low-extinction windows toward the Galactic disk and bulge. |
